During the NFL draft, as the Atlanta Falcons had the 16th pick, there was speculation that a trade might be in the works, as the timer was running low. Fans of the Philadelphia Eagles, hoping to acquire CeeDee Lamb, a highly regarded wide receiver from Oklahoma who was still available, were hopeful that their general manager, Howie Roseman, would make a move to secure him.
