Jeremy Clarkson Biography
Jeremy Clarkson, whose full name is Jeremy Charles Robert Clarkson, is a renowned English broadcaster, journalist, and writer primarily focused on the subject of motoring. Additionally, Clarkson currently contributes weekly columns to The Sunday Times and The Sun.
In 2015, the BBC decided against renewing Clarkson's contract due to an incident where he assaulted a producer of "Top Gear" during filming on location. Following this, Clarkson, along with his former "Top Gear" co-presenters and producer Andy Wilman, established their own production company called W. Chump & Sons. The purpose of this company was to produce "The Grand Tour" exclusively for the streaming platform Prime Video. Since 2018, Clarkson has taken on the role of host for the revived ITV game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" in place of the previous host, Chris Tarrant.

Jeremy Clarkson fury: How Grand Tour star branded Jacob Rees-Mogg ‘stupid idiot'
Jeremy never shies away from a row with figures on both sides of the political spectrum, and he branded the Conservative MP a "stupid idiot" in one of his most brutal blows. Mr. Rees-Mogg had just been on Good Morning Britain in 2017, where he told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid he was opposed to abortion and gay marriage. He was asked by presenter Susanna Reid: "Are you completely opposed to abortion in all circumstances?"
And he replied: "Yes I am."
He added: "I’m afraid so. Life is sacrosanct and begins at the point of conception. I think it is wrong."
Piers asked whether he would seek to ban these if he were Prime Minister, even in the case of rape.
"My personal opinion is that abortion is morally indefensible."
And on gay marriage, he said: "Marriage is a sacrament that lies with the church.
"I support the teaching of the Catholic church."
This provoked a furious column in The Sun by Jeremy Clarkson two days later, in which he argued speculation of the Tory figure being a future Prime Minister had been dashed.
"Abortion has been a central debating point in America since before sex was invented.
"In some parts of the country, it’s more of an election issue than immigration, terrorism or the economy.
"Mercifully, however, we have been spared any of that nonsense over here."
The Grand Tour star said Mr. Rees-Mogg's statement gave "all sorts of lunatics a free pass to emerge from their priest holes to say they agree”.
The car journalist even claimed that if Mr. Rees-Mogg was to one day become PM, that would push his vote elsewhere.
