Iavanna Sakhno born Ivanna Anatoliyivna Sakhno is a Ukrainian and American actress. She is known for her roles as Cadet Viktoriya in the science fiction monster film Pacific Rim Uprising (2018) and the hitwoman, "Nadejda", in the 2018 action comedy film The Spy Who Dumped Me. Sakhno's first television appearance was in the 2005 series Lesya + Roma (a Ukrainian adaptation of the successful Canadian sitcom Un gars, une fille) and her debut feature film role was as "Milka" in the 2013 biopic film, Ivan the Powerful. Her first major Hollywood role was in Thomas Dunn's 2016 thriller film The Body Tree.
In 2019, she was a member of the jury of the International Competition Program of the 10th Odesa International Film Festival. In 2020, the largest American distributor Lionsgate acquired for distribution the film of a Ukrainian director (the thriller "Let it Snow", directed by Stas Kapralov) in which Ivanna Sakhno starred in the lead role.
In 2021, Sakhno was cast in the role of Egwene al'Vere in The Wheel of Time. The Wheel of Time is an adaptation of the fantasy novel series by Robert Jordan. The series tells the story of a group of women who are prophesied to save the world from an evil force. Sakhno's performance as Egwene al'Vere has been praised by critics, and she has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
