Turner began his career in 2010, initially making a name in the modeling world for companies like Next and Reebok. His first foray into acting came with the short student film "Think of England" for the University of Hertfordshire Film and Television program.
His breakthrough role came in 2011 when he starred as Tony in "Zero," a film directed by David Barrouk and produced by Michael Riley. In the same year, he appeared in the short film "Human Beings" alongside Ben-Ryan Davies. Turner also featured in the 2012 music video "Time to Dance" by the French group The Shoes, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.
In 2012, Turner showcased his talent in the ITV series "Leaving," earning mostly positive reviews for his performance. He followed up with another ITV drama, "The Town," where he played the role of Ashley, a troubled teen, alongside Andrew Scott and Martin Clunes.
