Finn Michael Wolfhard is a Canadian actor, musician, and filmmaker well known for portraying Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series Stranger Things. He gained additional recognition for playing Richie Tozier in It and It Chapter Two, and Trevor Spengler in Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. Wolfhard has also directed films, including the short Night Shifts and the feature Hell of a Summer. In music, he served as the lead singer and guitarist for the band Calpurnia before forming The Aubreys in 2020.
Wolfhard’s first on-screen appearance was in 2012 in a music video for the Vancouver band Facts. His television debut came in 2014 in The 100, followed by an appearance in Supernatural in 2015. In 2016, he began playing Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things, a role he earned through a video audition.
